New Job

From my last blog entry I said that I had an interview at a store but unfortunately I didn’t get the job when I thought the interview went really well. Luckily, another store I sent my resume to called me a few days later for an interview! And … I got the job! She already wants me to start right away for some training on Wednesday for a few hours and I think I have to work Friday and Saturday. So that’s cool. Hopefully it’s an okay job. A job is a job right so I’ll take what I can even if it’s just for a few hours a week.
Olympic break is starting on Friday and I have no school for 2 weeks! I am kinda excited about that because I get to relax since we don’t get any homework for the break. I do have a lab exam for Biology right when we get back though so I guess I do have to do SOME studying during the break but that’s okay. I’m sure I’ll have the time too since I’m just going to be working and relaxing and home. Yay! Since I have no school on Friday, I’m excited for having a movie night with my boyfriend on the Thursday night. I have work until 930pm on the Friday though but it’s okay. It’s Friday night, I can still go out and have some fun.
I was thinking having this break might give me some time to make a new layout for the site and update it a little. I will try though. I can’t guarantee it just because I have to divide my time with a lot of things like work, my boyfriend and friends and trying to fit in some studying. I’m hoping that I won’t get lazy lol. I’m feeling lazy right now actually because I am suppose to be working on my paper but I’m kinda procrastinating haha. I have about 4 hours to kill though so I’m sure I can get my first draft going somewhat and work on it tomorrow and try to hand it in by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. I’m happy that I have my friend Bia to proofread it for me too. My prof seems to be a real stickler about structure and I’m a little worried about it. It’s my very first paper in a very very very long time and I’ve never been good at technical papers.
My problem is doing the whole structure thing. I have always been very good at putting out the ideas because my mind is creative and cognitive like that but having to incorporate it in a very technical way with the sentence structures, grammar and all of that really makes it difficult for me. So I hope I get a decent grade on this paper.
